DESCRIPTION:Love aviation? Come out to the AirFest in Cape May\, NJ from 8/28-8/31 (10am-4pm). Awesome WWII planes including the Corsair will be featured along with the museum’s collection of over 27 planes and helicopters. There will be live music\, food trucks\, and much more. We will be having a table display on 8/29-8/30 so please stop by. By attending\, you help NASW in its mission to memorialize the 42 men who perished while training at the site\, restore Hangar #1\, and educate the public. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 2nd Annual 9/11 LeRoy Homer 5K and 1 Mile Walk! \n5K and 1 mile walk. Flat and fast 5K starting in Memorial Sports Complex in Evesham\, NJ. Chip timing\, HD finish line video\, text messaging and instant results on RunSignUp. Gold\, Silver and Bronze medals in each age group. \nLeRoy Homer\, resident of Marlton\, was the First Officer on Flight 93 which tragically crashed in Shanksville\, PA on Sept 11\, 2001. The crew and passengers fought off terrorists and thwarted an attack against the US Capitol. The LeRoy Homer Foundation awards flight scholarships to young adults who wish to pursue careers in aviation. The proceeds from this 5K will benefit our aviation scholarship program to help create the next generation of pilots. Come out for a great run or walk while supporting a wonderful cause.
