Our 2026 Scholarship Application closed January 31, 2026.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we continue to honor LeRoy’s legacy by empowering future aviators to pursue their dreams of flight.  To date, the LeRoy Homer Foundation has awarded 36 scholarships, building a community of pilots who embody LeRoy’s values of leadership, excellence, and service. We can’t wait to see who will join our foundation family next!!

Please review the scholarship FAQ for information. Your completed application to include letters of recommendation must be submitted by deadline. Our application window is 10/31 – 1/31 annually.

We announce our Scholarship Recipients selection each year on our social media feeds in May approaching Memorial Day weekend! An email is sent to all applicants with completed applications following our formal announcement of selections.
